4-H Community & School Clubs
Broward County has various community and school-based clubs led by dedicated adult volunteers. Youth in 4-H clubs work on projects throughout the year, developing essential life skills while exploring their interests. 4-H School Enrichment & 4-H After-school
School Enrichment Programs allow 4-H staff and teachers to bring 4-H curriculum to the classroom and after-school programs. Programs such as embryology, college and career preparation, financial literacy, and other science and technology activities expose youth to important skills and concepts through the hands-on approach of 4-H. Materials and program leadership are provided by 4-H. Timelines for these programs depend on the content area and the needs of the teacher. Please contact the 4-H office for more information.

4-H Special Events
4-H offers events at the county, district, state, and national levels. County events allow youth to compete in areas such as Demonstrations/Illustrated Talks, Public Speaking, Fashion Revue, and Share the Fun Talent Show. Top-scoring youth have the opportunity to advance to district and state levels. State events, such as 4-H University (at University of Florida, Gainesville) and 4-H Legislature (at Florida State University, Tallahassee) allow senior level 4-H'ers to experience life at a university for a week alongside other youth and university faculty. Visit Florida4H.org for more information about state events.
