4-H is open to all youth, ages 5-18, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, creed, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. In Broward, our 4-H Community Clubs offer direct experience and fun projects in a variety of subject areas such as gardening, sewing and design, food and nutrition, small and large animal care, archery, environmental conservation and so much more!

As 4-H Independent Member, the 4-H world is your oyster and you may spend your time buzzing around various community clubs or diving deep into a project of your choice, independent of a club. Contact the Broward 4-H office if you feel this is the right fit for you and your family!
As a member of Broward 4-H, you are also automatically a member of Florida 4-H and can participate in state events! 4-H University, 4-H Legislature, 4-H Camps, competitions, and more are all opportunities for youth to connect with their 4-H peers throughout Florida.
Youth in 4-H clubs work on projects throughout the year, developing essential life skills while exploring their interests. Youth have the opportunity to receive awards for project and club achievements at the annual Achievement Night.
The Florida 4-H Cloverbud program offers an age appropriate, fun and exploratory learning experiences for children ages five to seven. This program is composed of a variety of activities promote learning and interaction with other youth, adult helpers, family members and community.
