Community Association and Public Outreach

The Community Association and Public Education Outreach Program is part of the Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ program. We give advice, do landscape evaluations, and share tips based on science to help your community make smart choices about caring for yards and common areas. Our team can recognize neighborhoods and homes that use good landscaping practices, and we award special flags and certificates to show off your achievements. We also help homeowners and boards make decisions that can save water, reduce yard work, and protect the environment. This program is supported by the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), UF/IFAS Extension Hillsborough County, and Tampa Bay Water.
