How to Become a Polk County 4-H Volunteer
The Polk County 4-H program relies on trained volunteers to help provide supportive learning opportunities throughout the county.
With limited faculty and staff; trained, competent, caring volunteers are crucial for the overall success of any 4-H program. These volunteers serve in roles ranging from club leaders, project leaders, advisory committee members, to various other activities volunteers.
The purpose of a strong volunteer system is to efficiently and effectively expand the 4-H delivery system and reach new audiences. Polk County 4-H serves a vital role in providing youth and adults with constructive and meaningful activities that enhance the family structures.
