Small Farms & Alternative Enterprises
Our program helps small farms in Hillsborough County by teaching and supporting people who want to start or improve their farms. We work with both new and experienced farmers and livestock producers. Our agents share useful, science-based information to help farmers learn the skills they need to succeed. We support part-time and full-time farmers and livestock producers through events like field days, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars that are great for small-scale farms.
