Events & Programs

UF/IFAS Extension Manatee County is a partnership between the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) and the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners. We help residents apply research-based solutions to everyday problems to improve their lives. Want to save water, shop smarter, eat healthier, preserve natural resources, identify an insect, improve your communication skills, or help prepare youth for adulthood? We can help. Through the combined efforts of faculty, staff, and volunteers, we strive to remain responsive to the needs of local residents and visitors, taking a leadership role in disseminating the latest scientific information.

We offer a variety of programs to provide solutions for your life!

Check out our calendar for upcoming opportunities to learn and grow with us.
