Residential Horticulture Program


The UF/IFAS Extension Residential Horticulture program of Manatee County provides researched-based gardening and landscaping information focused on sustainable and resource efficient solutions. A Master Gardener Volunteer plant clinic is staffed Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fri. from 10am til 2pm to answer questions related to your lawn and landscape. Workshops and presentations are open to the public and can be offered to groups through our speakers bureau. Tour our on-site demonstration garden.

Recognition and Landscape Assistance Programs

Sit down in our office with Master Gardener volunteers who can help guide you to find solutions for your landscape. Our highly trained volunteers will discuss how to make Florida-Friendly Landscaping (FFL) choices on your property helping you to save time, money, and resources.
