4-H FOR VOLUNTEERS
4-H volunteers play an important role in bringing information to their 4-H club members, assisting the Osceola County 4-H program with events and activities, and providing guidance and support to 4-H youth involved in the program. Below you will find information for volunteering with 4-H, and resources for current volunteers.

How Do I Become a 4-H Volunteer?
- Decide that you want to help kids grow and explore their futures.
- Check out the volunteer experiences (volunteer roles) with Florida 4-H.
- Contact the Osceola County 4-H Agent to learn about 4-H in the county and discuss the possibilities. After discussion, complete an Adult Volunteer Profile through 4-H Online. (Background screening is a part of the Volunteer Application process.)
- Successfully complete the annual OYCS-Youth Protection Training For Volunteers via 4honline.com.
- Contact the Osceola County 4-H Agent to communicate completion of the application process.
- Attend your scheduled fingerprinting appointment and await eligibility status from 4-H Agent.
- After you receive your official appointment letter, attend a county orientation and training.
- Prepare to share your skills, knowledge and talents while having fun with kids!

Food Booth Food Safety Training Materials
Each club participating in the annual food booth fundraiser is required to conduct trainings with their club. The materials are below. The training must cover the PPT presentation and at least one game/activity.Please submit the provided sign-in sheet or your own, along with a list of training material used.
