Clover Awards
Clover Awards are standards for a 4-H'er to earn credit for county and state summer activities. Cloverbuds only have one level of standards. For Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors, there are four levels of achievement: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Emerald. The standards increase in number as the levels progress. The standards are also different for each age division.
Below are the Clover Award Standards, Clover Award Application, Clover Award Definitions, Questions and Answers, and Events and Activities List. Read through all the documents. If you have any questions, please reach out to the office. Be aware that Clover Award Applications are due in the 4-H Office on June 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. See the Record Book Section for Record Book Instructions and Project Report Form

Scholarships
There are two types of continuing education scholarships, state and county. The Florida 4-H Scholarship Application and other materials are submitted electronically to the state. See the Scholarship Application Presentation for a thorough explanation. This scholarship application is used for both continuing education scholarships and awards trips to 4-H Conference and 4-H Congress. Any 4-H senior can apply for the awards trips so it is important to submit an application before your senior year in high school. The information from the electronic application is not transmitted to the county; we only know you applied if you tell us. The application portal opens in April. You can print the hard copy right now.
The 4-H County Scholarships require additional information. These scholarships are only for St. Johns County graduating high school seniors who are 4-H members to continue their education after high school. You will need to complete and print the Florida 4-H Scholarship Application, submit 2 references, your school transcript, and the 2025 County Scholarship Cover Page. See the Cover Page instructions for a detailed explanation.
If you would like Ms. Julia to review your application before you submit it, you must turn it in by May 8, 2025. The completed packets, with all required materials, including references for the state scholarships are due electronically by June 1 2025, at 4:00 p.m. St. Johns County scholarships, and all required materials, including references are due in hard copy to the 4-H office by May 30, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Be sure to give your references plenty of time to complete the references by the deadline.
If you have any questions, please contact the 4-H office.
