Join 4-H

Joining 4-H is easy, and is limited only by age. Members may be as young as 5 years old or as old as 18 (or until completion of high school, whichever comes first). A member's age is determined by how old he or she will be on Sept. 1, the start of the Sept. 1–Aug. 31 program year.

Additionally, any youth classified as an "exceptional student" by the State Board of Education – per Florida Statute 1003.01(3)(a) – is eligible to participate in 4-H until the age of 21 (the upper age limit for national 4-H) or completion of high school, whichever comes first.
